Call Paul Thompson, he is the Plant supervisor, and can tell you exactly where to mount them. He runs a 1895 Storm, and has them on the boat he runs.

Hope this helps,

On my 1895 storm I bought a set of mounting tracts, downrigger swivel bases, and plastic step inserts from cabelas. Mounted them in line with the rear deck. When not using I remove bases and put in the plastic step insert. Leaves a clean look then. Believe they are made by Pursuit sports. The set up is in cabelas cat. Good fishing

On my 192 Michigan I used the bases and mounting system made by pursuit formally called Burts. Found they work pretty well since I do a fair amount of salmon fishing also. What I did was I put some backing underneath where I mounted the bases. Took some 1" thick oak and encased it in fiberglass and ran the bolts from the bases through the oak for some extra strength in case I ever snag up a rigger ball. If you need more info let me know, but Gary's idea to call Paul at Yarcraft is the way to go.

I have a tiller model of the same boat, can downriggers be mounted the same as with a console set up?
