I am looking for some input from the guys who have run an Aua Vu MAV. I came across it in cabelas bargin cave on sale $1000. off and after a little more research I found a place called www.crosslakesales.com giving them away for 899.00 I want to pull the trigger on it but there is not alot of info online from guys that are running them. any realworld info would be greatly appreciated.

I have used the MAV AV for 3 years to collect underwater video and confirm what the sonar "sees" for my Instructional DVDs. Once you drop the camera the other anglers in the boat stop fishing to watch the action. The screen is good but not as bright as a Lowrance. It is also nice to confirm fish species seen on the sonar when they aren’t biting. Bottom line is I like mine and I find it useful.
