cabelas xml walleye rods

I am considering purchasing one of these rods. A 6 1/2 1 piece with a fast action. I plan on using this rod for lindy rigs only. Any idea who makes this rod? What about the quality of the rod? Your input is appreciated.

The xml series is a really nice, sensative and well built rod. I have had good luck with them and Cabela's is good as far as customer service. I read somewhere on here the other day that Loomis makes (made?) blanks for the fish eagle 2 rods but don't know if they also supply for the xml series. Anyone out there know for sure?

I've got a 6' med action Walleye XML, I haven't used it but a couple of times, but it sure seems like a nice rod. I, too, have heard that Loomis did (does) make many Cabela's blanks, but I'd like to have that verified.
