Thanks to Gander Mountain

Last August I purchased a Minn Kota starting battery from Gander Mountain in Appleton, WI. This was one of those "it's 8:45 pm, my battery died, and the only place open is Gander" deals. After charging it up a couple of times this winter, I tried to charge it yesterday and it was dead. Wouldn't take a charge. I went into Gander and told them my story. Oh, by the way, I didn't save my reciept (of course). Without blinking an eye, they told me to bring it in, and they gave me a new one. No questions asked.

This is why I do business with Gander Mountain.

I agree,they've been very good people to deal with in Pa.also.The one in the airport area in Pgh. has been full of good deal's,as they're the new store in town.They're going to be setting up a Storm display-with some old Tot's I'm told,stay tuned!!

Thanks for posting this. A lot of the time we only hear the bad things about a company. It's nice to hear about one that values their customers. Without a sales receipt makes it tough in most stores to get proper service. How many times have you sent in a rebate offer with the original receipt and crossed your fingers that everything else you bought holds up as advertised. I know I cringe everytime I part with the original receipt.

Next time you purchase something anywhere,ask for a duplicate reciept. Then you dont have to give up your original.
