I found out yesterday that their is a chance I may be fishing the Detroit River tournament as an amatuer. I was on the waiting list and now am one away. Since it didn't look like I was going to be able to fish this I haven't made any hotel plans etc. Can anyone give me some info on motels close to the launch site, availability, licenses needed and where I can get them etc. Am I going to have to go to Canada to get a Canadian license. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Get a Canadien license if avaiable at all. Lake Side tackle makes a license run over on Thursday afternoons, bringing back licenses next day $49, bottom line tackle also might know how to get the licenses there is a real snafu gioing on with Canadien licenses this year. Expect to fish it if you have the licenses alot of people will not be able to fisah it because of the troubles with licensing. Better get on it, an Ohio license would not hurt either. Call Lakeside now I beleive they make the run around 2-3PM
