Dumb question - WC private email

How can I tell if I have a private email in the WC box? I've now set it up so I am notified by my regular email, but am I missing something really obvious here?!? Also, is there any other way of getting your private email other than going into the Lobby?

The user menu is on the tool bar at the "top" of the page. However, I believe you must be registered and logged in to view it.
