went for kings today...struck out in the mouth...had a 12" something shiney but it got off....not too much action...one boat had one at dawn....i went to #4 and hardly marked anything...used jplugs and riggers off #4.....went to #2(mouth of port) and was just letting a silver jay out and a nice 4-5 lb king hit it....got that one...put a green ladderback jay down 20 ft and had a nice hit but was turning boat and lines were tangled a bit and it got off.....marked quite a few fish in the mouth of port...went back to the mouth of ditch and just casted j-13....orange had two nice hits....one boat ...a triton had seven fish..they were working the mudline and came on orange and red thin fins..not sure what size...steve...went back tonite until dark just casting jl-13's and did not get a hit....well, its off to yellowstone...cant believe i will miss this run!...steve

Hi Vetspet. I recently went out to the portage marina looking for the boat launch. I saw people fishing on the shore on the other side by the pier. Went home and grabbed some poles and bait. I only caught a small mouth under the pier. Do you have any info for fishing in the marina?
