I heard rumour that the lure company "The Producers" has bought (or acquired somehow) the patent for the original hot-n-tot (good ole metal bill) and will be producing them by this summer. Can anyone confirm this?

Breeze.
The word is that they will be building a lure similar in design, but not exactly our little 1/4 ounce buddy. Capt: Dan.

I just bought some original H-n-T's at Bass Pro. Not sure if they were made by a different manufacturer or not.
