Got 17 of the 2003 class yesterday on the top of the sand bar, harness all down deep, gold with orange was the favorite color. Lots of marks up there.

gold blade with orange beads or the other way around ?
I've doing best around the sandbar with any blade with orange - MiHi/Margarita etc. I use orange beads w/ orange blades. #5 colorados.
2 oz back 80 / 3oz back 60
Orange based ReefRunner 800's back 125 w/ 1oz snap back 25 have also been good.
Saturday I slowed my speed down to 1.3 - 1.5 and did very well.
I stayed welllll away from the mayhem of the pack and nets.
A few 8+lbr's were caught further north near the weather buoy, but the quantity caught was lower.
