I'm looking to purchase this classic book on a typical day in a musky fisherman's boat. If anyone could let me know where to look, or has a copy they would like to get rid of, please let me know. thanks!!!
Check Amazon.com. Type in Title and Author. They are a good source for most books.
Funny you should ask...I own one copy and just last week I purchased a second copy for the summer home. I paid $130.51 for the second copy. The book is next to impossible to find, I should know, I've been actively looking for it for over two years :-). Another copy sold on e-bay for about $77.00 a short time ago, I missed bidding on that copy. As you are probably well aware, the book has been out of print for many years. Last year I had the opportunity to purchase a copy for $80.00. I thought about it for literally 10 minutes, called the guy back and it was gone, that was through a guy on the Musky Hunter board. Have you ever read the book? It is downright hilarious and it's pretty cool because it takes place in Boulder Junction (an area I know well), so when Bill is driving down the road on the way to a lake I can see everything in my minds eye. I have a first edition copy of Larry Ramsell's "Compendium" which I would gladly trade for a copy of Time On The Water. Anyway, like musky (or walleye) fishing, half the fun is in the chase. Keep your eyes open, it seems to come up on e-bay a couple of times per year, just be prepared to bid :-).
Best Regards,
