I stopped by Gander Mountain today to rummage around in the discount fishing tackle bins to see if I could find anything that I couldn't live without. And can you believe it I did manage to find some things I just had to have.
While walking around the store I thought I would check out their linecounter reel / rod combos, as I have been thinking about getting a couple rigs (I've never used linecounters, I either mark my line in manually in the back yard, or "eye-ball" it on the boat).
At any rate I found one of their name brand rod and reel combos that consisted of a 7'6" two piece rod, and their GST15LC reel. It was marked down from the regular price of $69.99 to a sale price of $49.97, so I picked one up.
Does anyone have any experience with the GM linecounter rod / reel combo? Good starter LC trolling rig?
