Most places are out of them here. Can one trap Emeralds in the spring months?
Not sure they go into fish traps? Do they ever go into stream?

Not sure where your from or at, but in Lake Erie they come up the rivers and in the docks during fall and spring. You can pretty much net all you want for the rest of the year if you had a holding tank.
