The only CD I know of with the hot spots map on it is made by Garmin for their GPS units. As a owner of both a new Garmin GPS and a Lowrance 1600 global map I can tell you that the Garmin Map Source Hot Spots CD will never load into you 1600 unit. It's apples and oranges. As far as I'm aware of, your only option is navionics individual maps (at $25 a crack). The mmc card of regional map they make is not compatible with the 1600 either.

A little confusion between Navionics and Fishing Hot Spots as the FHS LOGO is also used on Navionics Hot Maps site.
However, Fishing Hot Spots makes a CD-Rom of some of their lake maps. These have GPS readings built into the map program. These are not the downloadable version of their maps, but a PC version for at home use. Though they can be printed.
However, if you are looking for the downloadable (to your gps) version of a Fishing Hot Spots map, then they send you to Navionics.
Navionics is a different company which incorporates the FHS maps into their maps and the result is FHS HOT MAPS by Navionics.
Those come in Regions or in single lake maps.
Regions are "For Lowrance LCX-15ci, LCX-15mt, LCX-16ci,GlobalMap 3000mt, GlobalMap 2400, LMS-240 users only" Lowrance MMC users need to use the "Regions" maps.
Single hot maps: "For Navionics NavChart Based Chart Plotters, or Lowrance GlobalMap 1600 GPS, LMS 160 Map,
AirMap 100 or Global Map 100 users only".
