Has anyone had experience with the IN A SNAP rod holders that snap onto your rope cleats. They have them on the product list on this site. Thanks

Have been using a pair of these in my 1650V Rebel. They work fine for their intended purpose on 4 inch inside cleats. I did have to do some modification (grinding material off the back and tip), to allow them to fit the inside curvature of the hull. After track mounting a more permanent set, I plan on keeping them in the boat as an extra set.

Trapper-
I just got done making something very similar with the help of another fellow from WC. If you are at all handy with tools, its easy to make your own. And the ones I made are so sturdy, you could hang off of one and it wouldnt budge.
I have some pics of them on my website. Email me at perchjerker1us@yahoo.com and I can link it to you.
I have a Lund Explorer and would like some rod holders without drilling. Can you email me a picture of how you made them.
Thanks! jrn56@yahoo.com

I picked one up a couple years back as an add on if I don't plan to troll but end up doing so anyway. I doubted their effectiveness but have been pleasantly surprised. I had to change out a cleat on my Lund to make it fit properly. I usually use Tite Locks and would recommend them as a first line rod holder.
