Has anyone been up in the Boulder Junction, Wisconsin area fishing in the last couple of weeks? I am heading up this weekend and will probably be fishing on Trout lake, Allequash lake, Plum, Palmer, or if anyone has any hot tips for that area....

I was in Boulder Junction last weekend with my tournament partner. We were fishing the Cisco Chain. My only tip would be to stay away from any guide that says "this time of year I can consistantly put you on 5# fish". Nine hours later and only one fish (19") to show for it was enough for us with this guy. Like my tournament partner said in the boat after 9 hours and one fish: "I know this old guide trick, you keep the client out in the boat hoping they will pay you more to take them in!". We couldn't get out of his boat quick enough. We immediately backed in our boat and proceeded to catch 20 'eyes in the next two hours.
