A question for the prop guru's.
I have a '05 1700 Lund Explorer w/Mercury 115 EFI 4-stroke. Motor is turning 5800 rpm's (6000 max.) and running 44 mph on the GPS. The prop is a 3 blade Stainless Steel 13 X 18 Mercury Vengance, and the motor is mounted in the second hole from the top. The problem is on sharp turns at around 4000 rpm's or more the prop starts blowing out and I have to back off the throttle until I straighten out. I was thinking of trying a SS, Mercury Trophy Plus, 4 blade, 19 pitch to help solve the problem. Does this sound right?
Thanks

I run them and they bite the water very well on turns. The only downside is that you may lose 100 rpm or so with the 19 pitch.
