Dicks Sports Stores still has the awesome prices on the non glow shallow runners; 2 for $5. Bought 70 of them today, guess I'll be keeping the dog company when wife sees this stash!

Awww Gilligan, Never EVER let your wife see all the fishing tackle you haul home, hehe. I drop the stuff in the boat on the way in the house, sort it later, she catches on now n then, but it works for me. Hide the reciepts somewhere too... :7

I grabbed a couple dozen of those crystallinas last week, 2 for $5 is a great deal.

At work today, a lady aproached me to tell me that her husband just spent over $700 on artificials. He had always been a bait guy up until last fall and is starting to build his boxes. From what I gather he spent the night with rover.

I asked her if she would be upset if he spent $100, $75, $50, $30. Her response was $30 to $50 would be ok. What if it was every week, I asked. $20 to $30 is OK and $50 every once in a while.

She is letting him know tonight that these are her ground rules on lure purchasing and hapiness.

Know how the ladies think, buy small lots, and stay out of the dog house.

$30 X 52 weeks lol lol

Gilligan, I wish you lived closer to the store that I work at. My tackle sales are down this year compared to last. I would evan through in a blanket for you from the camping section. Or give you a good deal on a sleeping bag. I told my wife that we have about 120 different reels in. (meaning the store) She asked me where in our basement.

See you on the water

Got chilly last night, that sleeping bag would have been nice! Actualy had to finish up at Gaylans as neither Dicks stores in the Buffalo area had all I was after. They were advertizing 20% off on the Offshore products but all either store had was inline boards. Gaylans had just 6 snapper releases, now they have none.

when i first met my wife i was spending $100.00 or more at the local watering hole on friday nights, so when we married the deal was to stay out of the watering hole and spend the money on fishing equipment, that was 12 years ago and i still spend what i want when i want as long as i don,t get real crazy, she dosn,t bat an eyelash at it, i am a lucky man.
