View Full Version : Loose Gauge in Dash Lund Pro V
Just wondering what is involved in tightening a gauge that is loose in my Lund Pro V dash. Looks like I can take the panel off by taking out some small screws. What is my next step on the back side of the panel to tighten the gauge on the panel so it does not move? I don't want to take the panel off to explore unless I know it is a simple fix to tighten it myself, otherwise I can ask my dealer to help. But if I can do myself it would save alot of travel time.

Simple fix, when you take the panel off, you will see that the gauge is threaded, you just tighten the plastic nut until it is tight. One word of caution, when you go to put the panel back on, use a hand screwdriver and tighten the screws evenly, same way when you take it off. those panels crack and break real easy.
This was definitely not the place for the power screwdriver. It took me about 10 minutes to get this gauge fixed, and it was easy. I was careful not to overtighten the panel screws, thanks for that word of caution Lund Rebel. I was surprised that there was not more substance to the dash panel. It is amazing they hold up as well as they do.
