View Full Version : Canadian side info???
I am heading down to Windsor tommorrow and was plannig on fishing around the Fighting Island area...is the river really as dirty as past postings or is it cleaning up @ all ??? i will be fishing in Canada only...Monday will be my first trip,i really don,t care how far we have to drive to get into fish ...any help would be great .thanx.

Fished Saturday...Fish are just starting in the river now...lots of small males with a few larger females thrown in...water temps low 40's near edison...high 30's up river...chart was the ticket...canadian side a little dirtier but fishable...

With the wind blowing from the south the upper streches of the Detroit River may be clean enough to fish. I will be hitting Peche Island area Monday morning. The Canadian side was quite dirty and it will take some time to clean. Remember the water on the Canadian side will clear first on the north end.
