Looking for recommendations/ comments on walleye fishing in Lake Michigan near Fish Creek, WI in the bay area. Will be there May 27-29 using 16 ft boat w/40hp motor. Also curious about other species. Help please!

At least Fish Creek has a usable launch ramp -- many in Door County are high and dry with the low water level.

If I were you, I'd trailer down to Sturgeon Bay and fish the west side and little Sturgeon as well. Usually, the best walleye action is at night in the Door, but unless you really know the water, don't risk it. You might give walleye pro Dale Strochein a call -- if he's not on the pro trail he books clients. He's very good.

Try Monument Schoal or Larsons Reef. Crankbaits or spinner rigs should produce in the daytime.
