View Full Version : Vexilar Edge discontinued?
Can anyone confirm that the Edge has been/is being discontinued? Salesmen at both Cabelas E. Grand Forks and Reed's stated over the phone that they don't carry the item any longer, and that it's been discontinued. Sounds a bit odd, but I would think the folks on this board might know one way or the other.
I've yet to receive a response from Vexilar (e-mail).
Never seen one up close to evaluate, let alone seen one in operation; now may never get the chance to buy "non-sight-unseen," assuming I could locate one.

Last Sept the Cabela's in Owatonna said the same thing. I have talked to Vexilar on several occasions since then and they have denied it.
My GUESS and only a guess....is Vexilar has a major upgrade in the works. Will need to wait and see.
Fine unit that have been going for $499.

When certain stores don't have what the customer is looking for it is real easy to say it is discontinued and look to sell you something else. This is the oldest trick in the book!
When I talked with Vexilar about that a month ago, they told me they have no intention of discontinuing the Edge. I bought one at $499 but they are now hard to find. Seems that price really moves these units as apposed to $699. Excellent unit.
