I recently installed a transducer extension cable for a Lowrance LCX-15mt. We took the boat out on the river and got virtually nothing on the screen except some real faint graphics and the depth was flashing from 1.2 to 356ft. We brought the boat back to my shop and checked out the cable. We straight lined the transducer without the extension cable and she worked fine on both the glassed in one and the skimmer. I am thinking it is a bad extension cable and I am overnighting a different one from Bass Pro. The first one came from Cabelas but they don't have any more. I was curious so I went to LEI Extras website to see what they offered and it showed no extension cable for the x-15, but showed a cable for the x-16ci. Both Cabelas and Bass pro says these cables work with the x-15. Is it the cable or do they not actually have an extension cable for this unit?
