Looking at upgrading to the HDS units and LGC- 4000 puck. I have NMEA 2000 blue connectors. If I have read everthing right all I'll have to do is buy the adapter cables to go from blue connectors to red connector devices. Any help well great if any one as had to do this. Thanks JD

You are correct, HDS units and LGC-4000 pucks will connect to a blue connector network as long as you use the red-to-blue adapter cables. Part of the network in my own boat is set up that way and it works great!

When you go to get parts for this conversion they may be just black ends instead of the red ends. I have this combination in my NMEA 2000 and some of the connecters are plain black. They are the same as the red ends.
