I have been keeping random fishing records and have them scattered about and in notebooks with all kinds of other fishing notes in an unorganized way. I have been thinking about writing/keeping a comprehensive fishing log where I can look back at what worked and what didn't in an easy way.

I've looked around online and on this board and a lot of the "computer" solutions and comments seem to be outdated or not easily customized.

My first thought was to design a spreadsheet in excel from scratch. SInce I havn't worked in excel in quite a while and it would take a lot of learning and trial & error on my part. Does anyone already have a working template or thoughts so share?

I'd like to get comments and suggestions.

Thanks in advance,

Al Denninger

Most the time I use scattered notes or print a weather report and write down notes on back. I also started the attached file. Hope this helps. Had to post in jpg format.

Thanks ksx3. That's a start.

Anybody use a fighing log software? What do you like and dislike? Does it work with any mapping program available?

Still searching,

Al

PM me your email address and I will send you a framework of the one I have in excel that I created. I have been using it for two years now.

I use this one. More set up for trolling. Got it off another site a couple of years ago.

Orchard Frank,

Thanks for the link but could you point to where to find the download? I must be blind but I can not find it.

Thanks!
