I have been thinking about these since i seen them on a boat.I am wondering if the dimensions are the same for a 2005 2025 prov.It sure would be nice to have slide out drawers under their, keep some gear-or just about anything dry.Anyone thought of this or have a 2075 that they can give me dimensions.http://http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll64/corvette744/draweronnewlund.jpg
I didn't make drawers, but made a door with a Perko latch identical to what is on your boat already and put a door on the space to turn it into storage. A friend of mine gets a new Pro V every year, and we've been doing that for a many years. There is lots of storage under the consoles. The door was easy to make with matching carpet, a piece of plywood, hinges, and the latch.
The space is ready made for drawer sliders, so making a drawer to fit the space should be simple enough.
The mod may have been what led to the drawer, he has direct lines to engineering.
There are a couple other storage enhancements we've been putting on his boat that are pretty simple, and convenient.
I won't be able to measure the drawer dimensions, his boat is already sold and gone. I'll look when I get a chance next year.

Never thought of just putting a door on it.I would really like the drawer-just easier to pull out and grab stuff while your sitting in the chair, also if you dont have rain gear on and the floor is wet and you have to reach back their far you knees get wet.I made a call to a lund dealer i get all my stuff from-he jumped in a 1975 and measured,21 and 3/8th track to track wide,7 inch height,15 and 3/4 depth. My depth i measured is 22 sure would like the extra 6 and 1/4 of space wonder why they shortened it.He is going to check with lund and see if i can get 2 of them-im sure the price will scare me into making some myself-well see.
Easy,
Trim out a hole in the area where you want the drawer.
Trim out the corners of the hole with aluminum angle.
Purchase or make a box for a drawer.
Attach drawer slides. If you use RV style drawer slides that require you to lift the drawer to unlock it, you won't have issues with the drawer opening when you don't want it to open. Otherwise, put a hasp on the drawer and edge to keep it closed.
Finish it off as needed and enjoy.
Since it is in a boat where there is likely to be moisture, wood is not the best material for the drawer. You are better off with a plastic or starboard, or aluminum drawer. You won't have moisture issues causing drawer failurs if you do.
If you want the drawer made out of aluminum, you can go to any sheet metal shop and they can bend it up for you out of aluminum and they can rivet it together for good long life.
Or, you can use plastic starboard, and screw it together with stainless steel screws for equally good life.
Perhaps the best thing of all would be to get a preformed plastic tub of the correct dimension, to avoid any type drawer creation issues.
p.s.
A very simple thing to do would be to get a rubber maid container of the appropriate size, cut a hole into the area, use the material that you cut out to make a door. Finish the edges and hinge the door.
Then, simply open the door, slide the rubber maid container into the area to hold anything that you want in the area. In use, open the drawer, pull out the container and either fill or empty as required, slide back in and close the door to hold it all in place.
Of course this would imply that you have a floor in the area behind the wall that you are cutting, which may or may not be there.
Good luck

i think its going to be simplier than that the openings are already their and i think the same size as the 2075 model.Im trying to get the current model year specs and got them it sounds the same but lund doesnt seem to want to sell them.Under both of my consoles their are openings already-justlike the dimensions of the surrent model year boat.

Looks like you'll just need to go buy a new 2075 then! :bangin:
