My used 9 yr old boat came with a Lowrance 337 installed..Prior owner told me that occasionally the chartplotter looses its location. I found this to be closer to 99% of the time. The only time it finds me, it flashes up the lake & spot that I am on, them looses me & I get the "location not found" . When I was first looking at this boat, I was researching some things including this Lowrance issue. "SOMEWHERE" I read it appeared to be a common issue. I cant locate where or what the fix was/is/if there was a fix. Anyone lend a hand with this one.. My first instinct is to replace the antenna. BUT I bet that aint cheap !

(NOTE:::I do have two power sources for this chartplotter/sonar device.. I have verified that as working)

Try this first go into menu-go into gps settings and turn off wass-the previous owner probably turned it on-if not calllowrance possible update on your unit-or new antenna or bad connection.I bet on the first one.
