In the last couple of years when Lund puts out a package of boat and trailer with the trailer being decaled as a Lund, what make is the trailer? I'm guessing Shoreland"r. Am I correct?

My trailer that says LUND, is also a Trailmaster. I believe with custom trailers, the trailer manufacturer just puts the boat brand decal for whatever brand boat the trailer was ordered for.

Can you still get a trailmaster or eagle trailer under a lund or is shorelander all they offer now? What do you think about the shorelanders?

My previous Lund had a Shoreland'r roller trailer under it and I had no problems at all. My current Lund Rebel has a Shoreland'r bunk trailer. The only problem I've had is excessive wear on the front third of the bunks from the pounding it gets from the front of the boat when trailering. I determined that the trailer was flexing enough when traveling to do this, even though the transom tie downs were tight and the bow was winched tight to the roller. I've added a vertical strap (using a transom tie down) from the bow eye down and around the trailer frame just aft of the winch post. This has solved the problem. Other than that, no problems.

I think it just depends on what dealer you go to . If the dealer handles Trailmaster, then yes. Unless something has changed...is Lund now forcing dealers to sell them on Shorelanders?? That would be unfortunate,,but is unlikely.

I have had several Shorlanders and several Trailmasters ,I will take a Trailmaster any day. Only way I would use a shorlander is maybe a smaller 14ft or really lite 16 ft rig. I like their roller trailers for something like that. They are fine. For anything bigger and heavier, a 4 bunk Trailmaster a better way to go. But probably more money.

I bought my Lund from a dealer in NC and it came on a Wesco galvanized trailer which I thought was a replacement trailer, after having it for over a year and looking at the mfg. info, the fine print says "Lund 1800"....for whatever that's worth.

Lots of them say "Lund".
But if it came as part of the factory package during the past few years, it is ShoreLand'r.
They chose ShoreLand'r because the majority of Lund dealers were already ShoreLand'r dealers, too.

I was offered a package of Lund Pro Guide 1825 with a Yacht Club trailer. The dealer is an Ezyloader dealer.

Mine says lund as well but it is also a shoreland'r. I do like the new led lights that the trailer has pretty slick plus they are submersible which makes nite loading a lil easier to do lol

My '08 came with a Shorelander, but I asked for a roller trailer, since most of the lakes I go to have shallow landings, so floating the boat off the trailer isn't very likely, as well as power loading.

I had the option on my new 20 ft lund alaskan dc to go with shorelander or trailmaster. The trailmaster was 900$ more but came with a spare, side guides, diamond plated steps, and surge brakes as standard where they were options on the shorelander and the price would have been a wash.I laugh when I see 30-50 thousand dollar boats setting on roller trailers. There an accident waiting to happen, and cant be to good for the hull.I.M.O

Seems Trailmaster is popular in the east. My Angler SS has a Trailmaster as well and curiously it came from Michigan. You have to make sure the boat is fully forward and the vertical straps are tight to minimize flexing. Won't be long and I'll need to replace the bunk carpet. I love the hollow SAFE-T-LUBE spindles.
