I made this post a couple weeks ago and got some good response in GD but moved it here to get more. Anybody have any good info on that area right now? If the wind is blowing hard during the day does it settle down at night? Can you fish shallow closer to shore or do you have to troll deep water? Any info would be appreciated!!!

The bite the past few days has been almost exclusively a night bite (full moon???). The guys staying with us have been trolling leadcore and stickbaits for the most part and doing pretty decent. Most of the boats have been catching 7-8 fish in an evening and fishing until around mid-night. The best area has been the east side of center reef and up in the northeast corner. Before the past few days, the north end of the bay was totally dead. But it seems to be picking up quite a bit now. The key has been to go as SLOW as you can. Good luck...
