Confirmed it today, I will not likely be attending, sorry guys. The OZZfest date for Denver is Aug. 22, which if I remember right is at the end of the get-together. As much as fishing with 25 people from teh same area is enticing it can't beat 13 hours of great live rock. Might make it for a day but am not planning on it.

I was a teenager in NYC when Rock and Roll first hit the airwaves in the early fiftys. I guess thinking back that I can understand where you are coming from. However, even then when I joked around with friends about "what would you rather do than anything else in the world", my response was "catch a five pound bass" (understand that I knew not from walleye in NYC but at least had caught a few bass on forays to the Catkill mtns). You can imagine what most teenaged boys with raging hormones said. I was ridiculed fairly vigorously but, you know, I have never changed that view. The fish have changed as well as the size goals, but I'd still rather catch a big 'un than just about anything else. With the change in date for the concerts noted by Neal, we still expect to see you at Glendo. If I'm lucky, I'll actually make it this year.

WELL, that changes things a bit, it really does. Last I thought I knew was that the Get-Together would be around the last weekend or so in August, had the 21st for some reason in my head. But if its before hand 70/30 I am there.

Oh yeah I have to go to OZZfest, not only as a fan but as a writing liason, its a great moonlighting job.
