Can you take an sd card from a lcx-27 that you have stored info on and install in a hand held like an i finder hunt and share info between them? I removed the card from my lcx-27 and installed it in an i finder. The base map shows up but any info that i had like icons etc do not show up. any ideas??

I don't know about Icons, but if i save waypoints or trails from any of my lowrance electronics to an SD card it will transfer to any other unit. I have an ifinder expedition, a 522 IGPS, an LCX37 and an HDS 8 and can share info from an Sd card between any of them. I've also shared with friends who have lowrance units that take SD cards and have had no problems.

If you save the waypoints, icons, trails and routes on the SD card in your LCX 27C and then load them into the iFinder using the save and load processes required for transfer, it should work. I just bought a iFinder H2O and used the correct procedures for transferring the information, and everything transfers over. I have even taken Magellan files and converted them to .usr files and they also work. Everything on your LCX 27C is not automatically saved to the SD card unless you save it to the card.

All of my information from my LCX 25C works in my H2O.

I HAVE 2 LOWRANCE GPS/SONAR UNITS ALSO. MY QUESTION IS THIS: MY 520c GPS DATA WHEN DOWNLOADED ON A "SD" CHIP WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BY MY LCX19c UNIT. HOWEVER, WHEN I DOWNLOAD ONTO A "SD" CHIP THE GPS DATA OF THE LCX19c, THE 520c WILL ACCEPT IT. MY THOUGHTS WERE THAT THE 520c'S PROGRAMED SOFTWEAR HAS MORE DATA FEATURES THAN THE 19c'S, THUS THE 19c CAN'T FIND A LOCATION FOR SOME OF THE DATA THAT THE 520c HAS COLLECTED. HOW AM I DOING?? IS THERE ANY TRUTH IN MY LOGIC??

When you save your data from the 520 save it as Version 2 and it will load to the X19.
