I would like an answer from someone who has these boats ..I am assuming
That on the Alum.. Classic or Navigator series that the tank is in that bench across the back next
to the pan ...I had this set up in a Crestliner B/T Tiller and it seemed very back heavy ...
In the Lunds with the tank in the floor I would believe it would be more ballanced .
I am only curious about these Alum... B/T's because of the large price difference
between them and the Lund Pro Guide or Rebel XL. Thanks DMA

Others will probably have more detailed info for you, but the tank in my Nav 165 tiller is in the floor. It does not run in the back bench. It starts under the back bench centered in the boat and then runs forward toward the bow in the floor. I am not sure how far up it runs.
Hope this helps some.
By the way, I do not find the boat to be too stern heavy. However, I have series 31 batteries, trolling motor, livewell, anchors, and gear up front to help with the balance.

The Alumacraft gas tanks are located below the floor. They are long and narrow and run under the floor of the boat in the middle rear of the boat. They do not interfere with the weight at all.
Fish out of my buddies 185 Navigator alot; the tank is in floor and not under bench as others have stated.
His has a Yammie F150 and runs great, if you run it in "the sweet spot" it will do =/- 6mpg.
I'm in the market for a 18 to 19 ft boat but they don't make the Nav in the 18 foot size anymore, otherwise I'd be ordering one...........

A stated, tanks should be in middle of floor.
WW - the Navigator in that length should be covered by the dominator of tournament series boats. A 185 tournament series should be close to what you are looking for. Buying used you m,ay be able to find the navigator still as well.
To ksx3...........
I'm currently looking at the Tournament Sport 195, pretty close to placing an order.
Thanks for the info though.....
