Where to fish Erie this Memorial weekend?

I am considering the following choices fishing Erie this weekend. I can troll with in-line boards or drift with bottom bouncers. I trailer a 19' Sylvan.

1.) Launch at Fenwick and fish the the A=can and West Sister area or....

2.) Launch at Catawba and fish Niagra to Green and Rattlesnake to North Bass. or...

3.) Launch at Mazurik and fish around Kelly's island. or...

4.) Launch in Vermilion and try off Ruggles to the sand bar. Sounds like plan B could be fishing for smallmouth in this area if the walleyes aren't hitting.

Any comments or advice would be appreciated. Plan on fishing Sat. thru Mon. weather permitting.

Try Option #2 this time of year.

Its been slow all over, but your best bet is between Green Island and Niagara reef..

They are getting a few eyes here, and lots of smallmouth. (vermilion) getting a little better each day, but still has a ways to go yet. good luck and good fishin.
