Went to Producers Corp. today (makers of Willies Worms & hopefully Hot/n/Tot replica) to pick up some 1/4 oz. Roscoe's Shiners for Brown fishing . The owner said tooling should be in within the next 45 days . She showed me two hand made prototypes that were going to the lawyers (still some legal issues yet). The 1/4 oz. looked great , exact same lip as original with maybe a slightly rounder body . 1/2 oz. was very similar to the old rattle tot with the bent lip like the 1/4 , not the straight lip found on the original 1/2 oz.'ers . Cross your fingers on the legalities , she said they were being very careful & wouldn't start production until/unless they were cleared up .
Lots of rumors flying about on other websites . Some were saying she'd bought original tooling from rapala (false) , others were saying they're out already (false also) .
Hope every thing works out , getting tired of paying $5.00 a pop on hard to find colors .
Ron

Thanks for the update. I guess I would like to know where you are getting older tots for 5 bucks. Sounds like a deal to me. Have you checked Ebay lately??

I would like to know if this Produces Company has a web site. I am interested in those Roscoe's Shiners for Brown fishing. Where can a person get them?

Pup.
She didn't mention how much they were going to cost did she? And if they wanted to throw on a $1.00 sur-charge for a while for legal costs to fight Normark, I for one would buy a few extras for that reason. Capt: Dan.

Generally, or Definetly, one of the biggest parts of any New Product develoment includes a Price/Cost analysis of the product. Any good manufacturer will know within pennies how much the new product will/should cost. Of course sharing that news with people who might stab you in the back, would not be sound advice. Captain Dan.

Just go to www.marinews.com then click on Producer Lures . The 1/4 oz. chrome/black & gold/black are my favorites . The prism/silver looks good too , but I havn't had a chance to try it yet .
Good Luck , Ron
