Not sure what part of the country or planet your living in but there are "good" companies failing on a weekly basis due to the current economic struggles our country is going through. It doesn't matter if you make a "good" or a "bad" boat trailer, if no one is buying the boats that sit on top of said trailer then you're not selling trailers and your business will possibly fail along with the others who have good products but too low of sales. Its a delicate balance right now to keep any business alive and it doesn't take much to fall on the wrong side of the fence..

I have a Prestige trailer, very impressed with it.

Well built Jig welded trailer with quality axle components, sorry to hear there out of business if it's true.

But they made very nice trailers. I'm sure there is a company dying to make your next trailer. Probably right down the street from the old Prestige guys.

I have a Prestige BTV for my 1700 Lund Explorer. Aside from not knowing you're pulling a boat, they had six bunks, which eliminated the need for side guide ons. Boats on a Prestige look cool. Too bad Byron had to close up shop.

I can't believe anyone would have great things to say about their product, I have a 2003 boat trailer double axle. I've had nothing but trouble with it. the brakes, fenders rusted out, all wheel bearings, front hitch, lights & wiring, side wood panels rotted out and can't find a color match for the paint which they called spinal wine what a great product made in the usa! i'm glad to hear their out of business.
