Humminbird Down Imaging arrives at Pool 4

I had a chance to run a pre-release version of Humminbird's new Down Imaging technology this weekend on Mississippi River Pool 4. Here are a few of the screen captures I collected.

SO Jason , the down imaging does not also give us the Side imaging view?

We toggle back and fourth :} or maybe add a second transducer & screen :}

blueicecpa, the last two pics look like split down/side imaging to me. However, I'm not that overly impressed. I think I'd prefer just the plain old traditional mode. I can't wait to install the upgrade and play with it though.

Jason, is there a reason that the sensitivity is cranked so high on the down-imaging/traditional split screenshots? Do you prefer it all noisy like that or is that a result of trying to get the fish to show up with good contrast on the down-imaging screen?
