I'm looking at finding a comparable bass boat to a 2025 le? Any suggestions?

what about something like a 2010 Predator SS? That thing's got a huge front casting deck, lower profile so it doesn't catch as much wind.

Ranger makes a Z22 which is 22'2 long 7'11 wide. It's a huge boat with monster decks I've seen it in person, killer boat. I believe all bass boat companies make a model even longer than a 2025, most have a 21 ft model.

I owned a 520 Ranger Comanche for six years. One of the greatest hulls ever. It had a big, wide 92" flippin' deck, lots of storage, and could top end at 72 mph. I ran it many times on Lake Champlain and Lake Winnepesauke (The Northeast's "Winnie"). It handled rough water very well.
I have ridden in many bass boats as a co-angler, and have been on Erie several times. I rode in a 522 Ranger Comanche on Erie, which is the predecessor to the Z22. I picked the brain of all the pro's I fished with about what they prefer for big, rough waters. First, the 522 rode like a Cadillac in three foot chop. With a 250 it could barely hit 60 though in perfect conditions.. The pro told me that actually he thought the 520 was a better hull for rough water. He said you tend to nose waves more with the 522. Whereas the 520 has great size, but it still has superior manuverability, and superior speed. The overwhelming consensus amongst the pros I talked to, and based on my own experience, the 520, or now the Z520, is the best bass hull for rough water.
As another poster said in the thread about aluminum vs. glass, its all about a compromise. If you're fishing north, a walleye boat is the smart choice. You will sacrifice speed, and at times the deeper draft may present problems, but more often than not the speed you gain from a bass boat will be negated by rough water, where the walleye boat will have the upper hand. The walleye boat is a four wheel drive SUV on the water. The bass boat is a Corvette. Well, the 520 may more be like a Cadillac DTS, but you get the drift.
All in all, if you want a boat that can handle rough water as good as any bass boat can, and still have excellent speed with a great casting deck and storage, the 520/Z520 is an excellent choice. But, if you're fishing north most of the time, I'd stick with a walleye boat.
Warrior has a bass boat line, all with a 25" transom for the bigger waters. Check them out.
