Looking for extra parts if anyone knows if there is any around. Already checked with MinnKota and found a few extra parts.

Ebay or the fishing boards will be your best bet for parts.
I don't know what all the hoopla is about those things. Two of my friends have them and besides the footpedal being nice there are better choices out there IMO. Between the two of them I think they have 3 or 4 lying around that they bought for parts.

It's odd, I missed a phone call from a gentleman from Rushmore, MN this past Saturday evening in regards to some parts for a Genesis I had, and now seeing this post, though not from the same location.
Only Genesis parts I've got left is a quick release mounting plate that mounts to the boat if your interested. PM or email me if you are interested!

Still have it. It's the 24v 74 pound thrust model. 60" shaft, auto-pilot with the footpedal (working and great condition). Let me know what you need.

I have one that started acting goofy that you may be able to get parts from. Who's from Rushmore, MN? I just moved from there about a month ago.

I love my genisis, this is my first boat and it was installed when I bought it the thing works great other than a few crazy ivans once in a while.

I cannot beleive nobody has copied that design, that auto deploy was sweet,, unfortunitly everyone I knew had allot a trouble with them....
