Well folks my wife and I made a trip to the doctor to yesterday since she's had morning sickness for the last couple months. Now this is kind of old hat for us w/kids ages 4,3,1 but when the ultrasound discovered that we are expecting two, well lets just say it was a little quiet in that room. Both babies appear to be just fine and were very excited. Looks like I'll have a full boat.

Congrats!!! we have 5 also but mine are 33,31,23,21 & 19. Five under 5, your wife will need some help!!! Maybe Scott should start a new site..."wives of walleye central regulars - a support site". LOL. Good luck with the pregnency, and start saving for college NOW. I have 3 in at once now, you'll likely have all 5. WOW

When it comes to babies, they're all "keepers" God bless you and your two new little arrows coming for your quiver.

Congratulations. That many kids that young are hard work, but nothing can compare to the satisfaction of having little ones looking up to you. Buy some more rods and reels and leave yours at home, you'll need to focus all your energy on helping them fish! I have five too and I wouldn't trade it for ten million dollars.

Wow, that is a lot of hooks to bait!! LOL I've got one, and he just turned 14. I bought us a project car to work on before he is old enough to drive, and it looks like he may want to do that instead of fish this summer. I guess we'll squeeze it in somewhere between fishin' trips. Congrats! Kids are the best!

Congratulations and God bless your growing family!!
We have only a 2 1/2 year old little (big) boy and love him as much as 10 children.
Mamma says no more for us, too bad, I think I could handle a bakers' dozen. ;)

Congratulations......I know the feeling! In both my wife's and my families there had NEVER been twins.....we were floored when we found that we had two on the way late in the pregnancy. The first two years were a blur....but after that my boys have been a blast to bring up. Every year my wife and daughter I have done a week long walleye fishin vacation in Ontario, and needless to say, we brought the babies along from the 1st year they were born. As soon as my daughter or the twin boys could walk, every sunny under every dock at the camp we stay at had a sore lip! The boys are 12 now, my daughter 14, and we have had some great times....actually, the BEST times....together fishing walleye and crappie. Start em off with panfish and work em into walleye as soon as their attention span expands.....you'll never regret it. I've untangled miles of snarls, hooked on thousands of minnows and crawlers, and did surgery on many a poor bluegill who got hooked deep....but that was back then, now they do it all on their own. There is nothing in this world any better than kickin back with your kids on an evening walleye troll on a beautiful Northern Ontario Lake! If you are like me, your twins will be BORN with the "fishing gene"....best of luck!

Sounds like just what this overpopulated planet needs.

I wondered how long it would be before someone took a cheap shot like that.

Don't believe the PETA myth that the planet is overpopulated. The truth is that you could take every person on the planet, put them in an area with enough land to have food and water to sustain themselves, and the entire area would cover a piece of land the size of the state of Texas. The planet is not overpopulated, but we do have a serious problem with the distribution of resources. Having five kids isn't going to hurt that, only help it. If you want to help, send some money to third world countries rather than bashing a new father who is rightfully happy about his family.

Well first off, CONGRATULATIONS on the news, and good luck! I have a feeling you are going to need it! Second, what kind of coward logs in as a guest user and bashes a new father. If there is one thing the earth is overpopulated with, it is cowards and jerks. Don't pay attention to those idiots and I hope all goes well for you and your family!

Obviously this is too heavy of a topic for this type of forum. I now regret posting, but it stuck a cord.

Hey GUEST 3

why do you even come to this site? it amazes me that you D**K HEADS have nothing better to do than scan thur web sites and cause trouble, if you think the earth is over populated than why not start with yourself and shoot your self in the mouth other wise take a hike and crawl back under your rock.

I would like to offer you Congrats!!! Kid's are what it is all about, but I must say, that of all the excuses my husband used to try and get a larger boat, this one is much more creative. Good luck and best wishes to all of you!!

I believe our children are the source of our greatest joys AND heartaches, and I wouldn't trade a moment of them.

Tom,
The heck with the future. As long as it doesn't affect your generation, right? This topic evokes way to many emotions to be discussed openly. Like I said before I shouldn't have brought it up here. Notice I'm not retaliating. Riling people up was never my intention. Signing off and turning my back. Stab away.

Looks like you've got that Power Forward and Shooting Guard you needed to round out your Team. Good luck to you and yours. Congratulations and send the cigars! lol. (Over 3500 registered users here now and all the rest of the regular visitors would make that one heck of a mess to think about in your free time.)

"Thank You all" The support you all have expressed says a lot about the great people this site attracts and reinforces what i've believed all along, that sportman and sportswomen are some of the best people on this earth. Again thank you and I'll see you on the water I'll be the one with a big smile and a full boat:)
