Just a note to let you know that we have openings in all IWTT events. We went from 60 team limits to 100-team limits this year. We guarantee a first place check of $2000 at each event. Entry fee is $210 per event. Top 30 teams fishing all four are invited to the Iowa State Championship of Walleye Fishing, hosted by Rythym City Casino in Davenport. Championship teams get free motel rooms, some free meals and a chance at a first place of $7500 ($5000 cash, plus prizes). The prestigious championship is awesome with lots of media and publicity for the anglers. We have a relatively small number of teams fishing all four events so your chances of making the championship are very good. Events are on Sunday except the championship which is two days. Our first event is at Dubuque on April 14. Get signed up by Saturday April 6 to avoid the $25 late fee. We'd love to have you. Just because you aren't from Iowa doesn't mean you can't fish, we've had teams from Nebraska, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota and Missouri. We're on some great bites this year; I'm expecting lots of nice limits at Spirit Lake and Clear Lake too.
The Third annual Okoboji Walleye Classic will be held on Memorial Day Weekend. This is a great two-day event with a $5000 first place, and it's held right at Arnold's Park Amusement park, so bring the family. There is a great kids fishing event from 12-2 on Saturday, and lots of nice shops for the wife, so bring the whole family for this awesome weekend.
