I have a Pro Tournament 3 bank charger. There is a button to push so you can get an idea if your batteries are fully charged or not. The LED light for battery #2 is not working. I tested both trolling motor batteries seperately and both are at 100%. Can I assume that the charger is still charging battery #2?
No way to know without putting voltmeter on the battery and checking to make sure all the stages are working. From what you say, it's probably just the LED that stopped working. My ProMariner 3-bank just died this week after only 7 months of use. There was no life in it whatsoever. No power LEDs, voltages, nothing. Just as bad was that when it died it drained my starting bank down to zero volts. This ruined a trip and really made me ornery if you know what I mean.
I called ProMariner and was told I had to pay the shipping back to them and it would be 2-4 weeks before they either repaired it or sent me another one. Luckily, the local place I bought it from let me swap it. The thing was great for the seven months it worked, but if it dies again Promariner won't get another chance. I'll probably go with a Dual-Pro next time.
