I have stored my boat in a garage since i owned it, but am now moving and will have no choice but to store it outdoors. I allready own a ranger travel cover which is great but i want something that will wrap around the sides of the boat as well. Does anyone have a picture or name of a company that has made such a product. Even considering covering the fiberglass fenders on the trailer.

Thanks

Can't say I have seen anyone with a custom cover that goes all the way down to include fenders, but I'm sure a custom shop can make it any way you want it,,but big bucks ! Storing outdoors is a bit harder on things than indoors, but usually on the cover itself,,....UV,Bird droppings, tree sap, moss, mildew etc. In the winter ..the weight of snow and ice. The cover itself becomes the sacrificial element. (That's why you buy it). Any uncovered exposed parts of the fiberglass should be able to be protected by a good wax or polish product. Most people wouldn't cover those.

To protect everything ,A good quality tarp tied down properly on top of your travel cover, and large enough to cover everything else should do the trick. You can also get tire covers to protect them from UV at any RV supply. That would help also.

But here is another idea if you have the room on your own property, and it can be stationary,,how about a boat shelter?.... Not cheap, but probaly no more than any "custom" cover you would have made up,and probably really convenient:

Check these out: (just as an example...I not endorsing any company or website)

I,to for many years stored my boat outside with a custom cover. When I recently purchased a new boat, I went with a portable garage. With a lot of research, I went with 14`x30`x12` from Shelters of America. It costed $1200.00 delivered to my door. Now I have storage for the boat and other equipment around the house.
Good Luck
