I was wondering what kind of line does everyone use to tie leaders ( for live bait rigging) not spinners. I was wondering, do you use xl so there is less memory or xt. I have retied my leaders 2 times and am 2 guessing myself. Thanks in advance

I used to use trilene XL, but this new formula they're using to make it sucks. I switched to magna-thin for some stuff, and silver thread for others. I especially like 4 or 6 lb magna thin for fishing leeches or minnows real slow on rigs.

I started using Seaguar 8lb and 10 lb rigging line. I had to special order my spools from seaguar website. Its the line with the green label. This stuff is incredible, strong, abbrasion resistant, and ties up real easy. Just my 2 cents Fish ON

I agree with the Seaguar. I use 10lb floro. Found it works well. I spend quite a bit of time live bait rigging on relativly clear lakes.
