Hi. this is a great idea. I live out here in henderson nevada and fish lake mead sort of regularly. I could use the company and help to defray the cost. thanks for this new forum. Its time to get out of the casinos for a while, I dont want to win all the money they have here yet!!

Alan will be in Vegas area for most of winter 09-10 so would be interested in "hooking up" to fish Mead. What would we be fishing for?. What do I need for tackle etc? If still interested let me know. BigstoneBoy

no walleye in L. Mead but just putting a line in the water is great way to spend a day. i'm retired and can get out most any time, and i live just 16 miles from Hemminway ramp

Hi. i did not know that any body else out here looked at walleye central. yes its too bad they dont have something beside stripers in lake mead. I think the freeze danger will be over by february and i can get the boat back in the water. I store the boat in the storage area by laker plaza. its a 18 foot tyee IO. i will give you a call when i get over the larengitis i just developed.

HI. I cant wait myself but this wind is killing me. it seems on my day off the wind goes crazy. 20 to 30 mph. oooohhhhhhhhhh.:shocked: just to report that on april 6th tom and i got out on lake mead to a wonderful day. caught about 6 nice size stripers and a cat fish. I was thinking of going next tuesday again but they are calling for a windy day possibly. we will see.

this looks like the last resonable temps this week. next week the fish will be cooked in the water before they get caught. they will be jumping into the boat to get out of the hot water. summer time water temps are around 95 degrees. :howdy: see you in the fall, probably october. Right now its time to win some money in the casinos and stuff myself with the terrific buffets they have here, Oh the king crab is great.

Hi. I hate to say it but I sold my boat this week. I hope the new owner takes as good a care of her as I did. I have sellers remorse. but it was just sitting there doing nothing and unhappy. she kept telling me to either use and abuse me or sell me to someone that will so i had no choice. It was a sad day to see her behind some one elses truck going down the road.

last week I went with a guide and some friends on lake mead at daybreak. there is nothing more rewarding than going with a guide that knows the lake.. we caught like 45 good size fish in about 4 hours. best day i ever had on lake mead. I found its cheaper to out with a guide than to own the boat. i know i will catch fish and it saves a lot of money.
