Just notice Cabelas was having a sale and was thinking about trying some. I'm new to lead-core, and wondering if this stuff works OK, or should I stick with the regular lead-core?

I dont know anyone who has tried it. I see Gander Mt. is clearing out leadcore in the sale bins in Duluth. I got 5 spools of ready core 1/2 off. Maybe they are doing this all over I dont know.

I have been using 27# non lead this summer. No problems and it seems to go to the same depth as the 18# lead I was using for years.
