Rumor?

heard a rumor today, second hand from a suzuki dealer, that they are coming out with some form of power steering assist for their larger tillers. Anybody have a inside line?

David, rumor has it...you said it right! "I'm one sick man with all these boats!" lol You don't need tiller assist on that new one while it's in the garage.

figured it out, nothing new at all, matter of fact I had it on a 04 motor, it is version of assist but nothing like the mertens made, anyway, going with the titan, even though my boat will be sitting in the garage for months.:bigsmile:

Yeah, I see the hydraulic dampner that they have, which looks like the cross-cylinder on a Titan system, but no actuator system that actually locks the motor in place once you take your hands off the tiller handle. Heck, it was almost a year ago that the Yamaha guys were touting a Yamaha-developed system for the F150/Skeeter 2000T rig, but that's been pretty quiet lately too.
