If you look close you can see that a smaller northern is wedged in the gills of the larger one. I wonder if it was caught that way, or set up for a Kodak moment.

I'll be dammed - you're right. It's either rigged, or just the way the two were strung on the stringer.

hmmm... why does it look like the little ones head has been rotated about 110 degrees??

or maybe I'm 110 degrees off today.

I thought it was a freak of nature until you pointed out the obvious. I couldn't imagine how both sets of bodies & fins could have stayed in such a pristine condition when only one set would have been dominant.

If you look at a map you will find that the Mississippi River does not even flow through North Dakota.
