kicker motor shaft length 617vs

I have a 200 617vs and i want to put a kicker motor on it. I'm going to have the ranger dealer mount it wiht the static plate. I don't want to spend a ton on a new motor so i'm going to find a used one. What lenth motor do I need?

Twenty inch would be best. I believe they consider those short shaft motors.:antlers:

IIRC, 15" is a short shaft, 20" is a long shaft and 25" is an extra long shaft...

I had 2 different 20" motors mounted on the static plate and it worked fine.
