I wanted to enter a upcoming walleye tourneyment and the rules say the livewell must be 34". I have a lund prosport 1675 and the livewell is 25" I believe. Is this something they really check or am I going to have to figure something else out for the fish?

That's strange. One of the reasons I bought the Lund 1675 ProSport is because I felt the livewell had better dimensions for fish than the 1700 Fisherman.

Casey,
Fished plenty of tourneys and have never heard of a rule like that. I'd doubt anyone is going to measure your livewell. I'd just call the director and ask. I'm sure you will be Ok.
Even the MWC has no rule like that. Heck, a 16 foot Lund with 25hp Merc was fishing at Spring Valley!

If anyone is interested, the tourney is on Banks lake in Washington State the third weekend of May. You can get more info at http://www.bigwallysfishing.com/

They might just want to keep the yo-yo's with the coolers and fish-baskets out of the tourney

Brushpile, I was casey til I registered. The rules said for this tourney, that they are following Washington State regs, which is 34" min. livewell and 20 gallons of water. I just want to fish, keep them alive, weigh them, release them, and win some money.
