How do you guys that use this stuff, go about using it. Just dump it in the gas tank, run it into the cylinders, carb? 16 gallon tank, how much to use. 1oz to 1 gal for tank use and is supposed to be good for maintaining the fuel system. They state to use directly in the carb to get the "goo" out and decarbon. But that sounds as though they are talking about an auto.

According to the directions you can double the seaform mixture for marine applications. I use a can in my 12 gallon tank every month or so. If I have any performance trouble that I feel is due to fuel prblems I'll double that by using two cans. I've had a couple trips ruined do to water in the gas. I now keep 2 cans(thinking about adding a fuel/water separater in the line this year) in the boat at all times. It's also the best out there for displacing water in fuel. Also add a can in the last tank for winterizing purposed(stabilized too).
I've never poured anything directly into the carborator on my outboard. But that doesn't mean that it's not ok to do so. I've just gotten the result I was lookng for by adding it to the gas.
Best of luck!

In the truck(suburban), I use a full can to 42 gallons about every 5th or 6th fill. In the boat, I use a half can in the 21 gallon tank about every 5th or 6th fill. Works for me, and seems to help keep everything running rather smoothly. I really like this stuff, and it works for summerizing the snowmobiles, and winterizing the outboards.

I run one can for every 20 gallons that goes through the motor. Keeps the carbs clean, keeps the carbon down, picks up any water that may be in the fuel, and makes me sleep good at night :)

Thanks Guys, I put 1 can in for the 16 gallon tank less a quarter tank. I could not believe the black carbon that came out of that engine. I let it run for an hour at idle and slightly above in the driveway with the muffs on it and you could hear it gradually smoothing out in the idle. I raised the RPM's and intentionally flooded the engine until it killed. It sat for an hour. Started right up and ran it again. Smooth! Thanks for the assist!
