I have never ordered directly from Northland but have used their products for years. They produce very high quality lures/jigs that have put alot of eyes in my boat. I highly recommend the tackle and assume that ordering online would be no problem.

Their tackle is top notch. Great paint jobs and inovative products. Been using their products for years.
They would prefer that you buy from a vender but if none is available near you go ahead and order on line.

By fisherman, for fisherman! Northland jigs and rigs are top notch.

Give Lipstick and Fireball jigs a try as well as their Roach Rig components.

Have not used the site to order, but the prod's are very good. They make a huge variety of jig heads, and I specifically like their new line of holographic spinner blades. Last year they outproduced any other blade I had.

Ever notice that when Northland's products enter a store all other similar products disappear? I really resent that!

Good quality but overpriced. Cheaper to buy/make your own jig heads in bulk and paint them yourself. Powder paints are just as durable and a whole lot cheaper.

Love their equip, but i agree that everything else disappears when theirs enters the stores. Do they really have that much weight in the industry?

As in anything you want to buy you have to be a smart shopper. Wait until you can find it on sale. Plain old lead head jigs can be found cheaper from other companies but certain items, like whistler jigs are only Northland. Personally, I like Phelps floaters on a Lindy rig. I am presently waiting for Gander Mountain to put Northland stuff on sale so I can stock up on the Phelps floaters. I guess they're calling them gumdrop jigs now. I have always wondered why Phelps sold the rights to these to Northland. Fireball jigs are also a winner with the wide gap and stinger hook.

Rod Holder, you can get Phelps floaters again. From Phelps. They look slightly different, but good. Order direct. They have a web site. You'll notice you can buy Phelps floaters at places like Gander Mt., but not the one that looks like the gumdrop. Northland saw to that!

I have ordered directly from them. Reasonable service and good tackle.

Thanks for for sticking with our products folks. We have been in business for 30+ years and we still design & produce leading edge products. New floaters that wobble and float hook up, weedless floaters (perfect with a bullet sinker or split shot), and the first stand-up jig. Also stuff for those "Other species". Look for our products in your local stores or the big chains such as Gander Mtn, Scheels, Cabelas, etc. or check us out at our website linked to Walleye Central or directly at phelpstackle.com . Sorry for the merciless plug but we want you folks to know we didn't go away, and in fact, we're growing fast!
Thanks, Mike Phelps

I would like to see Northland sell some of their jigs in bags, say 25 or 50 in a bag 5 different colors all the same weight. I have used LOTS of Northland jigs and rigs I just hate buying them 1 at a time.

I fish these almost exclusivly and put a good amount of fish in the boat.Price, well sure you can buy some cheaper. That's the operative word;cheaper.I've just had a Gander Mtn. move into the Pgh.area, and it's great. They have all the stinger's I need, and yes the price could be better, but can you beat some of them?$1.49 for a 2-card bottom bouncer?Yes the 4- $1.00 phelp's floater, but they work. And don't loose too many. They bang bottom all the time, and the paint stay's on and that's a quality product.I give em' a 2 thumb's up!

Fireball jigs the best out there , plus the owner is a walleye nut . I still get a kick out of one of my old infisherman tapes with the guy in and old pair of beat up nike's . Good stuff .

Phelps floaters 4 for a dollar? They are sixty cents a piece at the Gander Mountain by me. I'd love to get them four for a dollar, especially the glow ones.

FYI, Phelps chose to change the body style of the regular floater to increase the bouyancy when laden with the weight of a bait. There is nothing limiting anyone from marketing that old design, as there are many copies of that design on the market.

I've been getting some top- notch spinners and floaters from Christophersons in Alex. made by Pro's Choice. They are out of Big Stone City, top Quality knots and hooks. the spinners are 4 foot long which allows me to adjust from there. I first ran into them while fishing a tournament over on Big Stone at Schmidt's Landing- I think they are made there.

Looking at the new "2002" Northland Catalog and you can order bags of jigs in 25 and 100 bags. Used the Fire-Ball jigs, Rainbow spinners and Roach Rigs for lots of years of Northern Minnesota walleye trips.
I like the Lip-Stick jig for eyes on "Big Winnie" and the Buck-Shot Rattle spoons ice fishing.
